Music Program

The music program at Bal Swan is a vibrant and dynamic aspect of our preschool curriculum that all of our children participate in on a weekly basis. Our music teacher, Stephanie Shelsta is a former Up With People alumni. Stephanie comes to Bal Swan not just with high credentials but also with a great creative presence. Stephanie's music classes are a vital component to our program. Both children and staff look forward to music class.

Visitors at the Center hear singing and laughter coming from young voices in the gym every Monday and Tuesday. Children sing, dance, and play rhythm instruments with Stephanie's direction. They have even taken their "show on the road" to area senior residences and to the celebration of the newly designated Broomfield County.

Stephanie definitely adds music to the air and a bounce to our step at Bal Swan. Stephanie's staff position is supported each year through fund raising, individual donations and grants.
