Docs That Rock: Benefit Concert
Bad Rx returns to Nissi’s for its annual Docs That Rock concert benefiting Bal Swan Children’s Center. Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening that brings together friends, family, special guest musicians, and local medical professionals who rock just as hard as they work—all in support of Bal Swan.
Guests will enjoy incredible live music, dancing, a silent auction, and the chance to vote for the grand finale song. Back by popular demand, help us reach our $1,500 fundraising goal and Bal Swan’s own Executive Director, Ms. Debbie, will once again join the rockin’ docs on stage for a memorable performance you won’t want to miss.

Bal Swan Ball
The 62nd Annual Bal Swan Ball, “Blueprints of Brilliance,” presented by Varra Companies, brought our community together on March 7 at the Omni Interlocken Hotel for an inspiring evening of celebration and impact. Guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, a powerful keynote from Dr. Temple Grandin, and an evening of dancing and entertainment, including casino games.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, the event welcomed 350 guests and raised more than $235,000 to support Bal Swan’s mission of providing high-quality, inclusive early childhood education for children of all abilities.

Parent Education
Positive Solutions for Parenting
Positive Solutions for Families is an evidence-based, family-friendly workshop of seven sessions aimed to support families with children ages 2-5 years. During this workshop, we discuss a wide range of positive approaches that support children’s self-regulation, independence, cooperation, and problem- solving skills. Many of the skills and strategies covered in this course are also used in Bal Swan classrooms and implementing them at home can provide your child with a powerfully consistent environment across school and home. This home and school connection makes this workshop very unique and special.
Workshop classes are held in the Therapy Gym at Bal Swan. Cost is $50 and includes a visual schedule.
The goal is for both parents to attend so that you can get the most support out of the class as possible.
